Stupid cancercare.org. I requested to be put on the waiting list for the Young Adults with Cancer support group. I wait about a month, finally get an email that says I'm in a group, but NOT the Young Adults one. Damn people put me in the wrong one! So... lovely... Since you can only sign up for one group at a time, I guess that means if I still want to join the right one I'll have to go back to the end of the wait list?

I am a graduate student at GATech. I study physical oceanography and am particularly interested in biological systems. For those that don't know, it's basically physics, and no going "eww math!" at me.
In the beginning of March '07 during my second semester, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It's actually not that bad... or at least it's not as traumatic as I'd have thought something like this would be before actually getting it. So I made a blog spot to kinda keep track of everything that's going on and post nice baldie photos of myself. =)
Edit: Ok, it's August now and I'll admit it has been somewhat traumatic. But I've been managing.

Sure they are stupid....but don't give up....
When is the car coming in? Pretty soon you can go and hang out at the cancer center where you get chemo.... sounded like they might have some good offerings....
Same thing with me!! they told me that I should be in the blood cancer's group. I said, I have lymphoma AND I am a young adult, so it seems that I should be in BOTH groups. Then some freaking SOCIAL WORKER called me...SCREW THEM! I don't want their support that bad. They are just increasing my stress level and irritating me non-stop. Poop to you cancercare.org...you BLOW!
